Not much sign of a rookery here on Wood Street in Lanesfield any more, just the pub to remind us that there was one once. Update mid March 2022. The pub has been closed for several years, and become a target for petty vandalism and anti-social behaviour. Demolition started this week BBC News https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-birmingham-60874155 and the site is expected to be developed for housing.
