The home designed for himself and his family by prolific Leamington Spa architect William Thomas. He designed nearby Landsdowne Crescent, Landsdowne Circus and a large number of other buildings in the town. After a building industry recession in the 1830's (sounds familiar) he emigrated to Canada, becoming one of that country's leading architects. The building is now offices.
