This train is seen passing the site of the former Brent station on the main line from Plymouth. On the left is the original signal box, now used as a store. the bank to the right of the train was originally the main up platform, but the station building has been demolished. The old goods shed has been converted to a dental surgery and the goods yard into an industrial estate. Brent station was formerly a junction, carrying holiday makers to and from the west country and into the heart of the South Hams at Kingsbridge.
