This brick building today houses a Surrey County Library branch. It has a chequered history. It was built for military training then was the home of the Leith Hill Music Festival (1922-30). Ralph Vaughan Williams premièred 3 works here in 1930 (Benedicite, Three Choral Hymns and the Hundredth Psalm).
