The orange signs by the track from this huge turning space warn of traffic associated with wind farm construction. The area between here and the top of Aultmore Hill in the distance has been designated a wind turbine area, though as yet only one turbine, visible on the left, has been erected, so this scene is set to change significantly in the near future.
