Ashotts Lane is a bridleway, and its route towards Asheridge Farm is indicated by the lowest disc on the pole - a blue arrow pointing to the left - the blue colouration indicating that it is a bridleway. Above this blue disc can be seen two yellow discs - yellow indicates a footpath. The top arrow points straight ahead and indicates the footpath seen in Image] which heads towards the main Asheridge lane passing Asheridge Cottage. The middle disc's yellow arrow points up slightly and to the right and is showing how to get to Image] to venture into Braid Wood.
