Time was when this gate was left open, but it's been locked every time I've been past for years. The drive it opens from leads to a path between trees around the courts of Torquay Lawn Tennis Club enclosed between Belgrave Road (pictured), Scarborough Road and Croft Road. Access is from the southern end on either side of the Shedden Hill car park. The land train is paused outside the Victoria Hotel.
