Former Whitburn Baillie Public Institute in the snow with Lodge Polkemmet No. 927 shown on the right. The lodge was originally a single storey building but the walls were extended upwards in the 1920s and the original roof was reused. The Master of the lodge when the new temple was opened was Sir Adrian Baillie 6th Baronet of Polkemmet. http://www.lodgepolkemmet.co.uk/History1.html
