More foundations have been dug ready and footings put in for more houses to be built here on the former factory site. Before the factory this was the site of the Great Central railway's steam shed. A medium sized building was here to store locomotives in-between duties. There were two such sheds in Retford, the other was the Great Northern railway's opposite the station, this shed actually survives in industrial use.
