Carriage archway in former stable block, Crewe Hall

The stables quadrangle at Crewe Hall dates from c. 1636 and is grade II* listed. The north and south faces have large stone-dressed carriage archways, topped with shaped gables; the keystones of the arch are carved into horse's heads.
