The route straight ahead is Crossoaks Lane which leads to a lodge on the top of the hill in Redwell Wood. Up to then it is just about usable as a road, from then it continues as a bridleway north to North Mymms Park. The lane to the right of the picture is a R.U.P.P. that leads through Mymmshall and Hawkshead Woods until it goes over a footbridge to continue as Hawkshead Lane.
