The airfield is reverting to farmland - here looking southeast over Blankney Moor from the old SW/NE runway, now a minor road. The remains of the control tower can be seen in the patch of scrub just right of centre frame. http://www.raf-lincolnshire.info/metheringham/metheringham.htm
