Canada geese roosting on this pond in Doxey Marshes nature reserve have failed to keep most of the water from freezing. Some can be seen standing up but others just seem to be sitting and sulking! The main West Coast railway line's overhead pylons can just be made out in the distance with Doxey village beyond.
