Cast iron milestone of the 19th century close to the old turnpike road from Wetherby to Knaresborough. The milestone has 'walked' some 250 metres in recent years as its present position is by a stretch of new road. It is shown on the 1:25000 map as being alongside the old Wetherby road [now a cul de sac].
