This modest valley along a small stream west of Coakham Farm contains a fascinating arrangement of hedges, fields and a pond fringed with trees. A public footpath (SR396) passes through the enclosure in the valley bottom, and climbs up the other side to the right of the pond (notwithstanding the waymarked stile just visible to the left of the pond).
