On the right is the statue of Queen Victoria with her back against Piccadilly Gardens. The blue contraption inside the gardens themselves is for some kind of promotional event. The tall building is the Piccadilly Plaza office building behind the tram stop. Since then the gardens have been replaced by fountains and a grassed area which extends to the rear of the statue.
