Station house, Hatton, is sandwiched between the railway and the canal. The front of the house faces Hatton railway station approach road and the back of the house, seen here, is directly on the canal towpath. The bridge carries the lane from Hatton and Shrewley to Norton Lindsey; it is of concrete construction and was built in the 1930s as part of the canal improvement works. In the foreground is a cattle drinking trough fed by the canal.
