The Pump House

The Pump House (now a private residence) stands between the course of the Montgomery Canal (on the left, filled in at this point) and the river (see http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1090973 ). Presumably it served to maintain water levels in the canal, which terminated a short distance west of here.
