The interesting thing about this sign is it's the first I've seen with the road numbers in red. Of course they can use any colour paint they want on these but still quite unusual to see. Fingerposts however are still very prevalent outside urban areas as were exempted from removal in 1963. Situated on Village Road at the junction of Church Street, just in the far corner of Edmonton, London N9.
