Mornington Terrace runs parallel with the railway out of Euston, which is in a deep cutting the other side of the wall; the opposite side of the street is lined with houses. The tall block in the background is Euston Tower. The name 'Mornington', which is used for several streets in this area (most famously Mornington Crescent), was a family name of the Duke of Wellington who was related the original developer of the area, Lord Southampton.
