A tiny place. Surely someone is having a laugh with the name? Updated: Mike Hunter makes the observation that there is also a 'City' in the Vale of Glamorgan, in Image That makes you wonder if the name has a derivation from the Welsh word 'Ty' for a house, except that there's also another tiny place called 'City' in Suffolk in Image, which rather weakens that theory. An alternative explanation is that 'City' may be a straight translation of 'dinas', referring to the Image which overlooks the hamlet.
