There was a post office in Gussage All Saints until 2 May 1990 and it would have been nearby here – the postbox still has an old-style collection plate attached which indicates a Sunday collection – these would only have been carried out at boxes outside post offices. In fact, Sunday collections were ceased on 28 October 2007 and none now take place at all. This is one of two postboxes in the main street, and serves the western half of the village.
