The bus station with Saturday shoppers. The little girl in the foreground appears to be doing her best dalek impression, though it's unlikely she will exterminate the bus. The view of the church in the background is now obscured by Tower Ramparts shopping centre. There appears to have been a market on this site when the photo was taken. The bus shelter for the 2a route carries the legend Airport, a piece of history in itself as Ipswich airport closed in the mid 1990's.
