This quiet lane turns off Market Street > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/615729 in easterly direction - its name is derived from several old watering pits which are located beside it > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1060324. After passing a level crossing it peters out into a track, connecting with Church Lane by St Mary's church > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/615952 further to the east.
