Photograph of Southend East Station looking west from the eastern end of the south platform (platform 1). The main bridge in the foreground is the footbridge between the platforms. In the far distance can be seen the arch of Chase Road road bridge. The railway line carries trains between London Fenchurch Street and Shoeburyness. Here we are looking west towards London.
