And the snow and ice which covered Church Road > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1056300 only an hour ago has turned into a dirty brown slush. Gritters were busy in Norfolk this morning treating main roads, leaving conditions particularly bad on minor roads during the coldest cold snap of the winter so far. Around 10 centimetres of snow fell on frozen roads and made driving conditions difficult.
