The bungalow looks new, but the most recent change is the paving, which replaced a grassed area in front of the house. This is something we are being encouraged to avoid doing - bad for drainage , because the rapid water run-off can lead to flooding elsewhere, and bad for wildlife, leading to a decline of garden birds.
