Here's a snap from Bayview on the outskirts of Port Ellen of one of the grain silos shortly after it suddenly collapsed on Saturday 15 November. It was very lucky that nobody was injured as the resulting 80 tonne landslide of barley destroyed a garden fence and caused quite a bit of damage to parts of the maltings.
