From a lay-by on the A66 near Temple Sowerby. I could not believe my luck. As I drove out of a heavy shower there appeared a bright rainbow, then a parking spot and as I pulled-up the possibility of framing the rainbow round this tree was seen so I stopped in just the right place. However, in the ten to twenty seconds it took me to wind down the window get my camera off the passenger seat and change the lens, the rainbow had faded to a faint glow. Oh well, another one missed.
