View into a pasture on the other side of the hedge, which at this time of the year is rich in many types of berries such as the haws seen in the foreground. A waterlogged pasture can be seen beyond, the pools of water being due to recent heavy rainfalls. The woodland seen in the background is Further Plantation. There are several interconnected pastures adjoining an unnamed stream which meanders alongside the southern edge of Further Plantation, and the many imprints of horses' hooves as well as numerous heaps of horse dung indicate that these pastures are populated by horses.
