Works are progressing on the Owen Street Relief Road. The £21M scheme will provide a tunnel under the Wolverhampton to Birmingham rail line to remove the level crossing at Tipton Station. Users of the level crossing encounter lengthy delays due to the frequency of rail traffic on this busy line.
