Fingerpost at Eastington (detail)

Image: © Mike Faherty Taken: 19 Oct 2008

Detail of the top of the finger/guide post in the centre of Eastington. Erected on the occasion of Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1897. Very Victorian Gothic; the stone pillar is weathered, but the cast-iron arms are perfect. There are only three, as this is a 3-way junction. English Heritage-listed.
