The Hidden Gardens - the Rill

These gardens are dedicated to peace, and are eclectic in design, drawing on ideas from many cultures. The Rill, shown here, is located towards the rear of the gardens. The buildings that now house the Tramway Theatre started off as a tram shed in 1863; later, they served as the home of Glasgow's Transport Museum (until the museum was relocated to its next home, adjoining the Kelvin Hall).
