A disused quarry north of Meikle Kilmundy. Local rumour has it that a tunnel leads from here either to Glamis Castle or to the site of the long-vanished mansion of the Claverhouse Estate. This was the home of John Graham of Claverhouse, 1st viscount of Dundee, known variously as 'Bonnie Dundee' or 'Bluidy Clavers', depending on which side of the English/Scottish religious and civil war you were on.
