Brick building of 2 storeys with attics. The lower storey spoiled by shop fronts. Built in 1697, it was sold to the Corporation in 1763 'for the accommodation of the judges on their circuits, and to the public uses of the mayor for the time being'. It was neglected and finally sold off again in 1795. At one time it was the home of William Brewster D. Med. The building bears a plaque carrying this information.
