Birmingham: Is located approximately 120 miles northwest of London and is the most populus city outside of the capital. Tamworth: Was the capital of the Kingdom of Mercia during Anglo-Saxon times and today is home to a 12th century castle, a well preserved medieval church and a moat house.
West Bromwich: Is one of the larger towns in the West Midlands and traces its history back to the medieval period and was historically known for industries such as coal mining and metal working.
