| 6 Feb 2024 | Patrols in the area of Yatesbury as this is a hotspot area for hare coursing. Response (6 Feb 2024)In response to concerns raised by horse riders regarding vehicles passing too close and too fast to them - Pro-active patrols in Yatesbury, Hilmarton, Heddington and Stockley, Bremhill, Compton Bassett, East Tytherton, Foxham, Cherhill, Derry Hill, Spirt Hill, Ratford and Charlcutt. Officers also to be aware regarding agricultural theft of farm machinery, and any other associated items. The areas of Yatesbury and Heddington also have location of SSIS (Special scientific interest sites). |
