PC Grant Ward joined Wiltshire Police in March 2024 and is now part of the Chippenham Neighbourhood Policing Team.

Sergeant Mike Tripp is the Neighbourhood Policing Sergeant for Corsham and Calne, bringing 24 years of dedicated service with Wiltshire Police. PC 2062 Dorey is a member of the Neighbourhood Policing Team in Calne, covering Calne, Hilmartin, Foxham, East Tytherton, Studley, Derry Hill, Heddington and Cherhill.

He joined Wiltshire Police in 2021, initially on the Devizes Community Policing team. He moved to Chippenham Response in January 2024 before joining the Neighbourhood Team September 2024.

His role involves close collaboration with local schools, housing agencies, and community speed watch teams to address community concerns and promote safety.

He likes promoting road safety, being out on the beat and talking with members of the community.

PCSO Nicole Sheppard has served as a Police Community Support Officer for the Calne area for over 16 years, covering both the rural villages and schools, and working alongside PCSO Mark Cook to support Calne town centre. Her long-standing service has given her a deep understanding of the local community, and she is passionate about making a positive difference.

Before joining Wiltshire Police, Nicole worked with vulnerable children in the care sector. This experience shaped her compassionate and community-focused approach to policing. During her time in the role, she organised and ran the successful Blues and Zues youth discos in Calne. These events provided a safe and enjoyable space for young people to socialise while helping build trust between local police and the youth community.

Nicole is also a trained Wildlife Crime Officer with a strong interest in tackling rural and wildlife crime. She remains committed to supporting her communities and continues to take pride in her work across the Calne policing area.

Inspector Pete Foster is the Neighbourhood Policing Inspector for Chippenham, Calne, and Corsham, covering both the towns and surrounding rural areas. He has held this role since January 2024.

Pete joined Wiltshire Police in March 2007 and has served in a variety of frontline and leadership roles, including Response and Neighbourhood Policing as both a Police Constable and Sergeant in Swindon, as well as time spent in Custody. He also worked as a Force Incident Manager in the Crime and Communication Centre in Devizes and is a qualified Tactical Firearms Commander.

With extensive experience in neighbourhood policing at all levels: PC, Sergeant, and now Inspector, Pete brings a strong understanding of community engagement, long-term problem solving, and safeguarding.

He leads a dedicated team of Police Officers and Police Community Support Officers focused on protecting the vulnerable, reducing harm, and building safer, more connected communities.
