I joined West Midlands Police over 28 years ago and as a result have a wealth of experience across various roles including CID, Homicide Investigation, Neighbourhood Policing, Custody, and Force Contact. As a committed police mentor and coach, I am passionate about guiding and supporting the next generation of officers.

I am deeply committed to Youth Diversion initiatives and proudly serve as the lead officer for Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). As a White Ribbon Ambassador, I actively promote awareness and prevention of violence against women and girls.

I am proud to serve the communities of Bournville, Brandwood, Billesley and Selly Oak and am dedicated to dealing with the issues that matter to you.

Anti-social behaviour, shop theft and begging around supermarkets in the Maypole and Kings Heath area. Particularly on the Alcester Road

Response (15 Nov 2024)

Addressing these issues and supporting local businesses is a priority for us. We are working closely with local shops to support their security measures including offering crime prevention advice during our increased patrols. We are also talking to the local council and other support agencies who can offer help through food parcel schemes and referrals to supporting agencies. We are also working towards issuing Community Protection Warnings (CPW) as a preventative measure.

15 Nov 2024

Off road bike and mini-moto use around Wilsford Close, Stapleford Croft, Dawberry Fields Park and Allens Croft

Response (15 Nov 2024)

As well as increasing our targeted patrols at locations and times the bikes are being used, we are also working with our specialist colleagues from the off-road bike team. As we gather intelligence and find out where the bikes are being stored, we are carrying out warrants to seize the bike and stop their usage.

15 Nov 2024

Traffic offences including speeding and dangerous driving across Brandwood

Response (15 Nov 2024)

Following community concerns we have carried out both Community Speed Watch and police speeding operations. During these operations we have stopped numerous vehicles and issued road safety and speeding advice. We will continue to carry these out, and we encourage the community to contact us if they are concerned about a particular location.

15 Nov 2024

Drug dealing and usage across the ward area

Response (15 Nov 2024)

Thanks to community intelligence we have carried out a number of drugs warrants in the local area to crack down on drug use and drug dealing. We have increased patrols in the areas we know are affected by this, and we encourage you please keep reporting your concerns to help us with our enforcement action.
