Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) around public amenities in Wargrave involving drug use.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team have conducted high visibility patrols both on foot and in vehicles around identified hotspot areas. Recent patrols have been conducted around King George V Recreation Ground and Milestone Avenue. We will continue to work with partner agencies such as the ASB Team at Wokingham Borough Council to solve issues caused by antisocial behaviour.

Concerns around general speeding and traffic complaints in Broad Hinton and Whistley Green. These include the breach of local Traffic Regulation Orders (an official order (bylaw) made by a local authority that details the nature and extent of traffic restrictions in a certain area).

Police Officers from the Wokingham North Policing Team have been conducting speed enforcement in the Hurst area.

Community Speedwatch is a national initiative where proactive members of local communities join with the support and supervision of their local police to record details of speeding vehicles using approved detection devices. The Neighbourhood Team have conducted high visibility patrols both on foot and in vehicles in and around identified hotspot areas in Twyford High Street and main shopping areas. We are working with local shops to identify and deal with repeat offenders. We are still looking into the possibility of implementing a local Shopwatch scheme which allows businesses to communicate about ASB and thefts and share information as appropriate to support businesses and keep residents safe.

In early August, PCSO Brown organised an operation in Twyford to focus on the ASB reports the team have been receiving.
