Burntwood Neighbourhood
An historic former farming village, modern Burntwood is home to many families and gives its name to what is now a small town.
The area was once a sleepy country parish - but no more. The late 1960’s and 70’s saw the area earmarked for development attracting new families to newly built estates. With the growth came improved local shopping, excellent schools, popular churches and community halls.
The area has a fine new leisure complex and the wooded hills of Cannock Chase country park are close by. It also claims to have Britain's smallest public park!
