| 16 Sep 2025 | Vehicle Crime / antisocial behaviour - Buttrills Field and Neighbourhood disputes - North Walk Response (15 Dec 2025)In last three months in the Dyfan ward there have been 5 theft from / theft of motor vehicle. Three of these could have been prevented by basic crime prevention being followed. One of the vehicles was stolen when the keys were left in the ignition, the engine running and the owner left the vehicle unattended. Another vehicle was insecure with the rear window left open and three new rugby shirts were left on the back seat in plain view to allow the thief to reach in and steal them. The third one was where the owner was aware of a faulty lock on the vehicle but hadn’t ensured the vehicle was locked before leaving it unattended. With regard to ASB Buttrills Field- Hi visibility patrols have taken place at relevant times and there has been a reduction of calls. No longer a priority. Neighbour issues -North Walk- one of the persons involved in the dispute has been arrested and is currently serving a custodial sentence. |
