Community feedback from a recent police street surgery has highlighted an increase in Street drinking & associated ASB, Woodchurch Road.. Local officers are working hard with partners to deal with the issue.

Community feedback from a recent police street surgery has highlighted an increase in Street drinking & associated anti social behaviour on and around Woodchurch Road.

Officers are working with partners in the local council ASB team and retailers in order to disrupt these activities and gain evidence for prevention orders to to be applied for and enforced.

We are aware of ongoing concerns from residents and businesses regarding street drinking and associated anti‑social behaviour on Woodchurch Road. This has been found to increase also on football match days.
There is also concern about off road use of electric bikes and the antisocial behaviour that this causes in the area including intimidation to local residents.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team is actively addressing these matters through targeted high‑visibility patrols, enforcement using relevant ASB and traffic legislation, and joint work with partner agencies to identify offenders, seize illegal bikes, and provide reassurance to the community. We remain committed to tackling these issues and encourage continued reporting to help us focus our resources effectively.
