Nuisance antisocial behaviour.

PC Saddington is working with the Child Centred Policing Team, carrying out regular high?visibility patrols and engaging with schools, parents, and councils. Anyone committing offences will be dealt with using full policing powers.

E-scooter/nuisance motorbikes.

Reports of nuisance electric scooters and electric bikes have gone down. Officers are continuing proactive enquiries, including checking CCTV and carrying out house?to?house visits. When offences are identified, officers take action such as giving a Section 59 warning, issuing a Traffic Offence Report (TOR), or seizing the vehicle.
A Section 59 warning is a formal notice given to someone using a vehicle in an antisocial or dangerous way. If they repeat the behaviour, the police can seize their vehicle.

A Traffic Offence Report (TOR) is used by officers to record road?traffic offences. A decision is then made about the most appropriate outcome, which could include a fine, points on a driving licence, or a driver awareness course.

Road safety issues.

Officers are continuing proactive patrols to help improve road safety. They are monitoring vehicles linked to traffic offences and seizing any that are being driven illegally.

Work is also taking place with partner agencies to support further joint operations aimed at making the area safer for everyone.

E-bikes/e-scooters.

Alongside enforcement activity, we engaged with riders to explain the law and highlight the safety risks associated with e-scooter use. Where young people were involved, officers worked with parents and guardians to encourage responsible behaviour and help prevent further offences.

Antisocial behaviour - nuisance.

We worked with partner agencies, including local councils, housing providers and CCTV operators, to address reports of antisocial behaviour and concerns raised by residents. Alongside engagement activities, officers carried out enforcement action, gathered intelligence and made arrests where appropriate.

Road safety issues.

We have worked with partner organisations and carried out high-visibility patrols to address speeding concerns. Road safety issues continue to be monitored, and we are exploring further options for speed enforcement and other measures to help improve road safety in identified locations.
