Nuisance antisocial behaviour.

PC Topham has carried out high?visibility patrols and made three arrests for drug dealing in the area. We continue to work closely with partner agencies, including Swale Borough Council and the Child Centred Policing Team, to tackle this issue. Anyone involved in criminal activity is being dealt with using full policing powers.

E-scooter/nuisance motorbikes.

PC Topham attended Great Easthall, where a quad bike was stopped and seized for no insurance, and a moped being ridden antisocially was also stopped and seized. All individuals involved are being dealt with using full policing powers.

Wildlife crime/catapults.

We have been looking into all reports and following up with enquiries, reviewing CCTV, and working with our Child Centred Policing Team to identify children and speak with young people who have been using catapults. The team is offering advice and education to help them make better choices.

Fly tipping.

We have contacted the local council, which is the lead agency responsible for waste‑related enforcement and removal. We are working closely with them to make sure the report is properly logged, investigated and cleared in the appropriate way.

E-scooters/e-bikes.

Your Neighbourhood Policing Team has continued targeted patrols and taken firm action where offences have been identified. Several off‑road bikes have been seized as a result of this work.

Where seized bikes have been linked to housing association properties, we have worked jointly with the relevant Housing Association. They are now taking action under their own powers, as the use of these bikes is considered a breach of tenancy.

Drug dealing

Proactive policing remains a priority. Officers have been carrying out targeted patrols and conducting stop‑and‑searches in locations highlighted through community intelligence. These stop‑searches have led to several arrests linked to drug‑related activity, showing our continued commitment to tackling illegal drug supply and keeping the community safe.

Nuisance motorcycles.

Targeted patrols and information provided by residents have played an important role in tackling nuisance motorcycle activity across the area. Intelligence gathered from the community has helped officers identify hotspot locations, focus enforcement activity and respond to local concerns.

Through a combination of proactive patrols, targeted operations and partnership working, officers continue to disrupt nuisance behaviour, provide reassurance to residents and improve community safety. We encourage anyone with information about nuisance motorcycles to report it, as this helps us direct resources where they are needed most and take appropriate action against those responsible.

Fly tipping.

We have worked closely with the Environmental Response Team to share intelligence, identify offenders and take a coordinated approach to tackling fly-tipping in key locations. This partnership working helps ensure information is acted upon quickly and enables appropriate enforcement action to be taken where offences are identified.

Officers and partner agencies will continue to work together to identify repeat problem locations, investigate reports and take action against those responsible. Residents are encouraged to report incidents of fly-tipping, as information from the community plays an important role in helping to protect the local environment and prevent further offending.

Regular patrols and community engagement continue to address the antisocial use of e-scooters and e-bikes across the area. Officers provide advice where appropriate, while maintaining a visible presence to deter offending and improve public confidence.

Through proactive patrols and ongoing engagement with residents, officers are able to identify concerns, gather information and take action where offences are detected. This balanced approach of education, engagement and enforcement helps improve safety, reduce antisocial behaviour and provide reassurance to the local community.
