With the increase in foot fall and the possibility of vehicles being allowed back into the park this might cause issues to some users. Please let us know about the issues you have together with making contact with the Park Rangers.

During the summer time more patrols will take place within the Park. The Police work closely with the Council and Park Rangers to endeavour a good time is had by all.

Unfortunately, some of the youths do not always abide by the safety rules of the changing rooms and poolside which can result in early closure of the pools and causing anti social behaviour.

A regular surgery is held every 3 weeks in the café for users and residents to come and speak to Humberside Police. Also, we have been invited to attend by the Centre to be a presence at peak times.

A number of youths have been identified by the police for public order offences and have been issued with community resolutions outcomes and referred to Hull Youth Justice Service for intervention work.
Humberside Police open water search team have attended the pond within the park during the summer holidays for water safety advice.

Issues with youths causing trouble in the pools and ignoring staff members. Also, trying to gain entry to private rooms and refusing to leave when requested by staff.

Increase in anti social behaviour in East Park. Youths have caused criminal damage to the Play Area. Due to the cold weather persons will be trying to cross the lake when it is frozen.

Patrols have increased due to a person being identified by the police for arson attack on the Play Area.
Now we are entering the darker winter nights we will continue with our patrolling to ensure the park remains a safe place. Members of public are still requested to call in about any fires, anti-social behaviour or persons trying to cross the lake when it is frozen. Please call 101.

Youths causing a nuisance to staff and customers at Woodford Leisure Centre. This anti-social behaviour will be challenged by staff and CCTV opportunities will be used to identify the perpetrators.

Operation Yuletide, by Humberside Police is underway this year to assist and deterrer Shoplifting over the festive period. We will work with shops security and CCTV opportunities to identify person or groups of Shoplifters.
