Neighbourhood Officer Details
The Neighbourhood Inspector has overall responsibility for the entire neighbourhood policing team of Sergeants, Police Constables, PCSOs and police staff.
They are responsible for delivering on neighbourhood policing strategies, directing the deployment of the team and developing relationships with partners and key stakeholders to enable the neighbourhood policing team to work effectively.
Inspector Stoyles is the NPT commander for Scunthorpe South and Rural Neighbourhood Team and the Southbank Rural Task Force.
Insp Stoyles joined Humberside Police in 2023, prior to this he has worked in West, North and South Yorkshire Police in a number of roles including Firearms, Public Order and Response policing.
The Insp is a Public Order Commander working with local and national partners at community and sporting events and is an Inspector within Humberside’s Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Responder Unit.
He became the NPT inspector for Scunthorpe South and Rural in January 2025.
The inspector has lead responsibility for Rural Crime in North and Northeast Lincolnshire and the delivery of the Neighbourhood Policing Guarantee across the 4 towns of Brigg, Ashby, Epworth and Barton.
The team are dedicated to providing a dedicated service to the communities. Bringing offenders to justice and protecting those most vulnerable in our communities.
