Hello I am the local Inspector for Cosham and Paulsgrove. Our priorities are Anti Social Behaviour in the area and Retail theft and violent crime on Cosham High Street

Hello!

My name is PC Rich Langley and I am your Designated Neighbourhood Officer (DNO) for the area of Cosham in Portsmouth.

Part of my role will be to ensure the comfort and safety of the residents of Cosham as well as provide positive solutions to problem areas within your community.

I will be holding regular ‘beat surgery’s’ at a variety of locations across the area. Please keep a eye on the events and meeting tab on the website. I would be delighted to meet with you all to discuss any issues affecting you or your area.

As your DNO, I will commit to ensuring that issues are address in a timely and proportionate matter. I will work alongside partner agencies such as Portsmouth City Council and local housing providers to ensure no stone is left unturned in the pursuit of justice.

I am PC Davies and I am your local designated officer or local “bobby” covering Cosham & Paulsgrove. I will be working closely with PC Langley. I will mainly be covering Paulsgrove and PC Langley covering Cosham, however, with all aspects of policing there will be some cross over between us.
I have been working as part of the your neighbourhood’s team for nearly 3 years. This new role affords me extra time to really address your local issues and tackle these issues over a longer term.
This is both an exciting and challenging new role which I look forward to completing. Part of my role will be working with partnership agencies to look at how best to address these issues.
Currently our local issues are Anti-Social Behaviour across Cosham & Paulsgrove, Retail theft and violent crime on Cosham High Street. As mentioned, I will be working with partner agencies to address these issues.
I am keen to meet with as many of you as possible over the coming months to see what local issues you have and what options we have.
I plan to hold local “beat surgeries” across a variety of locations to meet with local residents as well as planning other meetings/events.
Hampshire Alerts is a really good way for me send out emails directly to residents so I will encourage you to get family, friends, colleagues and neighbours to sign up so people can be kept up to date on information relating to their area.
