I have proudly served with Durham Constabulary for 14 years with the last 8 years working for Easington Neighbourhood Policing Team covering South Hetton and Haswell.
Throughout this time I have remained committed to building trust, supporting local residents and working with partners to tackle the issues that matter most to our communities.
In addition to my core role I also serve as the Rural point of contact for the area focusing on protecting our farming and countryside communities from crime and anti-social behaviour. I am passionate about making a lasting and positive impact and take pride in contributing to the safety and the wellbeing of the places I serve.

I’ve spent the past 13 years working on the coast areas so I understand local issues and how to support residents. I’m passionate about making a positive difference and I’m excited to take on a new role that allows me to work even more closely with the community. My goal is to build strong relationships, listen to your concerns, and help create a safer, more welcoming environment for everyone.

I am the Sergeant for the Easington Beat Team, having recently taken up the role after several years serving the Seaham area. I bring over 21 years of experience in policing, with a strong focus on neighbourhood engagement, community safety, and problem-solving.
I began my career in Seaham as a Police Community Support Officer (PCSO), where I served for four years before becoming a Police Constable on response. After two years in that fast-paced environment, I returned to neighbourhood policing — an area I have always been passionate about.
My experience across both response and community roles has given me a well-rounded understanding of local policing and the importance of strong community relationships. Now, as a Sergeant in Easington, I’m committed to supporting my team, working closely with residents, and tackling the issues that matter most to our communities.

Hi, I'm Tasha, a Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) based in Easington. I joined the team in December and, although I'm still new to the role, I've already developed a strong passion for supporting the community and helping to build public confidence in the police.
Since starting this journey, I've come to realise just how much I value working with individuals who are vulnerable or need a little extra time and understanding. Being able to offer that support and make a genuine difference in people's lives is what drives me every day in this role.

During my policing career, I’ve worked in a variety of roles such as a Force Incident Manager, Custody Inspector and as a firearms and public order commander.
Together with my dedicated team, I’m committed to delivering the Neighbourhood Policing Guarantee: putting named officers back on the beat, responding to community concerns within 72 hours, and making sure that the people we serve feel supported and heard.
I am focussed on making sure that police officers and PCSOs are visible, accessible, and active in our communities to build trust and tackling the issues that matter most.

With over two decades of experience serving the Easington and Grants Houses Community as a Police Community Support Officer, I am now covering South Hetton and Haswell area along with PCSO David Edson. I am deeply committed to community safety, engagement and wellbeing. I am passionate about my role and have built trusted relationships with high visibility and working closely with local residents and partner agencies. I am proud to serve with Durham Constabulary, driven by a strong sense of public service and community pride.
