Parking obstructions on junction of Honister Avenue and Bowness Avenue on a daily occasion.
Same vehicle parks blocking the pavement and causing obstruction to view of the junction.

Response (1 Nov 2025)

High visibility patrols conducted in the area and parking advisory notices issues to any vehicles causing obstruction.
Owners contacted and advise given that vehicles found to be causing obstruction would be issued a fixed penalty notice and vehicle removed .
All vehicles parked causing obstruction removed from the area by owners and junction is now clear.

E bikes and E scooters regularly being used in an Anti-social manner on Buttermere Crescent in the evening times.

Issues discovered through intelligence from resident’s voice questionnaire feedback and community surgeries.
Street a week conducted in the area and joint visits with Torus Housing conducted to properties identified as having bikes, warning provided by both officers and housing.

We are mapping illegal bike activity and using plain-clothes officers to seize vehicles and prosecute uninsured, unlicensed riders. We’re also targeting e-scooters and using social media to locate where these bikes are stored. We will continue working robustly to remove these culprits from our streets.
