Cheshire Constabulary - Appleton - Warrington Neighbourhood

Over the school summer holidays, a group of youths entered the grounds of the high school and caused damage to the buildings, and a group also entered the Shack at Broomfields Youth Project, causing further damage and stealing items from within.

We have now spoken to the school and have identified the culprits who have entered the school and caused the damage.  CCTV images have been obtained and those responsible will be getting a visit from local officers in the near future to put right the damage caused.

Concerns around vehicle crime in the Bridge Lane/Dale Lane area.

A prolific offender from Latchford was identified as being responsible for entering insecure vehicles overnight and stealing contents.  He has since been arrested and charged with several offences and has now been sentenced to several months in prison, and will be on strict probation on release, plus subject to our integrated offender management team.
